Baby sock help?

I'm looking to buy sock for an 11 month old baby boy. He is beginning to stand and walk along things, since we have wood floors I would like his socks to have some sort of grip on the bottoms of them. Also his feet get really cold so the thicker the socks, the better.

I can't seem to find any that fit that description. He has really little feet (he wears a size 2 in infant shoes).

Any help, anyone know of good socks that will stay on his feet?

Baby sock help?

Reply:My daughter has tiny feet too! I didn't have much luck with socks to be honest, but several moms at my group recommended the baby gap socks. I just used Robeez (with a pair socks if it was cold). They are soft soled and the leather soles prevent slippage. They don't fall off. The 0-6 size will still fit him if he's in size 2. My daughter is still wearing that size and she's about an infant size 2.5 now at 13 months.
Reply:Old Navy gets my vote for socks with grips on the bottom. I have a few pairs for my guy even though he isn't even crawling yet but they seem to stay on well.
Reply:As has been said, there are socks with the grips on the bottom. My sister suggested to me to get the puffy fabric paint to put on the bottom of socks. (She told me this before I took her old "Parents" issues and saw it suggested in one of them.)
Reply:Try Walmart.I have a one year old and I find the only ones that stay on his feet are the socks that are more like a dress sock. They are thinner and have an elastic at the top. They cost a little more than the big jumbo packs of the white sport socks but are way better. As for walking on hardwood floors pick him up a little pair of shoes to wear around the house or some moccasins.I bought a cheap pair of shoes with a thin rubber sole that were just a step up from slippers they work great.I think they were from Walmart too.
Reply:sesame street socks have grips on the bottom and they aren't too thin. my son used them and he was fine on our hard wood floors.
Reply:Carters and Old Navy both make socks with the little grips on the bottom. As for socks that stay on a babys feet... don't exist!
Reply:I don't know about the size, but I know I've seen socks with grips on the bottom at Target.
Reply:try etholostins and mthercare annd babies r use did loads of slipper socks there dead cute say baby tows on them
Reply:I buy Noah's socks at the Gap. I've also tried Target but they don't seem to stay on as well. Also, you may want to try some slippers (JCP, Kohl's, StrideRite, Toys R Us). I haven't tried Pediped slipper shoes but they look nice in the magazines.
