Also shoes! like little crib soft cotton shoes, what size do i buy for them? Newborn? im so clueless right now. and socks? thanks for any answers, they will much help =] x x
Im a first time mum, stuck on what baby clothes to buy?
yes 0 -3 is good, but you will probably need a few premie things too...my daughter was 6lbs. 12oz and was in premie clothes for about a month...buy lots of onsies, and pants....babies don't need much else just yet...newborn shoes will most likely be too big as well, so get premie....
Reply:You only need like 1 or 2 outfits in newborn, chances are the baby may not even ever wear them. I never bought any newborn clothes. I got 0-3 months and for the beginning he just swam in them a little and then very quickly he grew out of them. By 2 months he was filling out 3-6 months clothes just fine. He's been in 6-12 months since he was like 4.5 months. I did get some newborn hats for bringing him home from the birthing center and they were too small! He wasn't a huge baby (7lbs. 4 oz.). I had brought 2 outfits for him because I wasn't sure how big he'd be so he ended up wearing a hat that was 0-6 months. And as you can see it was a bit big but still cute:

Bring a newborn outfit and a 0-3 months outfit to the hospital that way you are covered for when he/she is born.
I've found shoes were a waste of money. I just can't get my baby's feet in them because the baby curls up his toes when I try to put them on and they are so small. If you mean booties, they usually come in 0-3 months sizes and so on. I love Zutano's fleece booties.

My baby is finally growing out of the 0-6 months ones I have in chocolate. I'm so sad. Socks also come in 0-3 months and so on. I love Trumpette socks. They are 0-12 months and my baby wore them right away. They were a bit big, but there is no way they are fitting till he is a year old. I love these ones:

Unless your baby is a preemie, the 0-3 months should fit well enough for he/she to wear them right away. They'll be loose at first, but they grow SOOOOO fast.
Congratulations and good luck on the rest of your pregnancy!
Reply:I had some newborn and my son used them only for a bout a month.. It al depends on the size of the baby he was tall but so thin he could wear them.. I bought a whole lot more 0-3m.. Just buy enough to last about 10 days thats my rule.. In case I dont get a chance to wash i can go a for a few days.. =) it all depends on you tho.. And buy what you like. I bought my son sneakers like Kswiss ones when he was 1mo I thought it was cute and everyone else thought it was stupid anyways.. DO what YOU feel like...
Reply:These are great!

Reply:Get SOME 0-3 mths. Really, they do grow out of them quicker then 3 months though, so if you don't want to spend a lot, get 6-9 months.
Everything else you can go buy how old.
Reply:You should be just fine with clothes for 0 - 3 months (and be able to wear them right away). I bought a few newborn sizes and she wore them only once or twice. As for socks I don't know what sizes they come in, but I'm still using the same socks for my 4 month old as when she was born (and she's grown like a weed!). Also remember you'll probably be getting clothes at your baby shower. So definitely have fun shopping for a few things now, but wait to see what you get from others and then go shopping again! Enjoy (I have a 4 month old girl and haven't stopped shopping since she arrived!).
