of a pair of shoes I've never worn before. It's a platfrom, wooden, not sharp, wedge heeled sandals. I am just worried that maybe this could hurt my baby bc it hurt me a little? I am 24 weeks.
While rearranging my shoes, I accidentaly hit myself in the abodmen while trying to take a tag off?
The baby is fine, the sac usually does an exceptional job at protecting the baby. Although things are more than likely fine it's always a good idea to just keep your doctor "in the loop" when things like falling or getting hit happens...just call and tell them what happened, sometimes they like to check the vitals of the baby anyway just in case.
Reply:I'm sure the baby is fine...the baby is soo cushioned in there that its really protected.
Reply:doh
Reply:If the hit wasn't so strong so don't worry, my cousin had a strong hit on her belly when she was pregnant and nothing happened! her child is 2 years old now! Good Luck!
Reply:I think you will be ok. If your not bleeding and in severe pain the uterus should have protected the baby. Its really sad but my husbands dad kicked his mom in the stomach when she was pregnant with him. Hes just fine, the uterus is pretty strong when you are healthy. I know thats horrible but its just an example.
Reply:you will be fine. they are in a well protected place.
severe trauma - falling down, car accident etc is cause for concern.
Reply:no you'll be fine.. i am 21 weeks.. and i had a giant dog jump up and press into my stomach big time and it scared me.. my doctor says it takes a severe fall or hit.. something that would make a person go to the hospital pregnant or not that might harm the baby. they are protected in there dont worry!
Reply:Your baby has LOTS of padding between him/her and the outside world. I'm SURE your baby is fine however if you experience any abdominal pain or bleeding you need to contact your OB immediately.
Reply:he's very protected in that womb don't worry!!!!
Reply:you just made a wave in his water bed but it's no big deal, he probably liked the ride
