I'm wondering why a 3 month old baby needs shoes..

My daughter wore size 1 at three months old. But all shoes are different. Some are labeled "0 to 3 months" or "0 to 6 months." If you're really in doubt, just put your daughter's bare foot up to the bottom of the shoe you'd like to buy. You'll be able to tell if it fits. Make sure to buy them a tiny bit bigger than her foot is now because she will grow quickly!
Reply:Take her to a shoe store, they can measure her and fit her for shoes. However, 3 month olds do not need to wear shoes! Most pediatricians will tell you that it is not necessary, in fact it is better for the development if they are barefoot. There are times though, they wil need protections from the elements. Reply:Hi! My best advice for you is to just try the shoes on your baby when your in the store, the same as if you were buying shoes for yourself. Because some babies have different shaped feet. I recommend that instead of buying real shoes that you just stick with little booties and slippers for a while since your little one won't be walking for quite a while. Most stores have little booty sets or soft slipper type shoes that are comfortable and keep your baby's feet warm.
Reply:If you feel she needs shoes, I'd go to Wal Mart or other store and just try them on, or compare the size (place left sole onto bottom of right foot, vice versa)





Do not get hard bottom soles, because babies feet need the soft sole for proper growth. Just better to avoid if needed, my boys only wore shoes in the cold to keep their socks on. They wore size 4 at 3 months, because they were monsters.
