okay is it bad that I have to get my kids new shoes so often. i just got them some in february and those still fit them but i felt that they needed new shoes. and not only that i have to get them name brand shoes. even when they were babies. i just do not think that generic shoes are good enough for my kids. it really does get expensive but i cant help it. what do you all think?

Reply:I used to work for Stride Rite children shoes. Good shoes are very important for foot development. They don%26#039;t have to cost a great deal of money but a good shoe is worth the effort.
Here is a general rule of thumb for certain brands
Stride Rite go up a half a size for growing room.
Nike go up a full size for growing room
Reebok doesn%26#039;t seem to stay as consistent it can be anywhere from a half to a full size up.
I agree with your statement about generic shoes, I am with you on that one. They don%26#039;t offer the needed support for growing feet.

That extra cash could have been spent on taking their kids to learn something at the aquarium or museum or it could have been used to take better care of their health...instead the money was spent on fashion!
As your kids grow then yes...I think buying QUALITY shoes is important. Not all brand name shoes are made with quality.
They however do NOT need new shoes simply because trendier ones came out. If the shoes still fit and the quality has not been compromised then there is no good reason to buy them new shoes.
If the shoes are dirty and you don%26#039;t like that...then clean them.
If you want to buy them new shoes simply because you want to give them a new gift then by all means...go ahead. But consider this...what else could you buy with that money for your children? Perhaps not buying a new pair of shoes so often you would be able to spend the money on activities that you can do with your children to help promote a healthier relationship with them.
Buying material items that one does not NEED does not do this. The time you spend with your children at the zoo or even in Disneyland is priceless and the memories will last a life time...you cant say that about the shoes!
It is a nice feeling though when you can provide for them as much as you do huh!

Reply:Did you know that a great deal of %26quot;generic%26quot; shoes are made at the same manufacturer as your name brand shoes, using the same materials? Something ot think about...all you are paying for is the name not necessarily the quality of item.
Reply:If you can afford it, then rock on. But a warning, your kids may fall into a groove of only having to have the brand names, and someday they may not be able to afford such, and have a poor idea of how to manage money becuase they always go for the more expensive.

A friend has a young baby (almost crawling) by a married man. I don%26#039;t know if she knew he was married or not when she conceived, but that is irrelevant. The man remained married to his wife. He has asked to take the baby for an overnight visit. The wife has been openly hostile to my friend since finding out about her husband%26#039;s affair. My friend is concerned about her baby%26#039;s safety. The husband has been paying child support and health insurance. If you were in her shoes, would you let him take the baby for an overnight visit? Her concern is that the wife might injure the baby. I personally would advise her not to, but I thought I would get other opinions. I%26#039;ve seen the wife%26#039;s hostility.

The other woman could not have any kids. When the child was 2 the rich guy (father) took child for overnight visit and never returned him. When mother of child went to collect him she was told that he was keeping the son and that if she ever tried to contact him he would harm her other 2 sons. She was emotionally unstable and poor so had no money to fight him and also scared for the safety of her other children. Her son would be 16 now and has 2 brothers and a sister he has never seen.

From the moment I looked at him and could see the resemblance to my other children i knew I would love him as well. We have been keeping him for overnight visits since he was an infant. He goes on every vacation with us and believe it or not his mother and I often get together to discuss the kids. I have formed a friendship with her and I love that she is such a good mom to my little guy. We have never used the word step or half or any of that crap in our house. I tell everyone that I have 4 children because I do. Please try to build a relationship with this woman. It won%26#039;t be easy but your daughter needs to know her father just as my son needs his. What should I do for the big blister on my baby's foot?
My baby had recently outgrown his size 3 shoes, and I didn%26#039;t realize it. When I took those shoes off him, he had a huge blister going from the top of his big toe all the way to the ball of his foot. It%26#039;s starting to turn really red/purple now, and I don%26#039;t know if that%26#039;s because it%26#039;s infected or what. Should I keep it clean and covered, or let the blister get some air and take it%26#039;s course (and possibly not stay clean)????????

Moms selling baby stuff on ebay?
So, I%26#039;m looking to make about an extra $400 bucks a month, I%26#039;m a stay at home mom but we need extra income. I can%26#039;t get a job outside my home, but I%26#039;ve heard that Ebay is a great way to make some money. I have a few questions though.
First of all, how much can I really expect to make selling things? Is making $400 dollars a month on Ebay unrealistic? Be honest, I%26#039;ve never used Ebay before so I have no idea how much money people will pay for things.
Second, what kind of baby/kids stuff have you sold on Ebay that people really wanted? I have a ton of baby girl clothes, some of them designer names, like Christian Dior and Tommy Hilfiger. I also have toys, baby bathtubs, swings, seats, a bottle warmer, shoes, and a ton of other stuff.
Third, what does selling through Ebay entail? Do they take some money out of what you sell the product for? How do ensure you get paid from the other person before sending it out?

It takes many hours with taking pictures, downloading them, listing,selling, packing,getting the packing materials, mailing to become sucessful
Took me 2.5 hours to list 25 items for sale and people say that was remarkably fast
Reply:everything costs a price/percentage to sell it on ebay.
The basic starting price to list something (from $1.00-$9.99) is 40 cents plus a percentage of the ending price.
As well the most commonly accepted form of payment on ebay is paypal. They take their fees out as well, even though they are owned by ebay.
To sell on ebay you will need a credit card to register and a bit of common sense but its not to hard.
Ex: don%26#039;t post something at 2:00 in the afternoon because it will end at 2:00 in the afternoon, and well, there aren%26#039;t a lot of people home at their computers at that time!
*Oh I also recomend you get a cheap digital %26quot;mail%26quot; scale (I got mine on ebay for like $10.00.) That way you can weigh the item and then just calculate how much it will cost right online. The buyer is the person who pays for the shipping cost but if you think it only weighs 2 pounds and tell them the cost to ship 2 lbs, they pay that then you find out it really weighs 3lbs then its going to have to come out of your pocket. This way you won%26#039;t have to take it to the post office to see how much it weighs.
I sell on ebay and how much you make depends on what you sell.
Sometimes things go for cheap, and sometimes you get something good out if it.
My best suggestion is save the box!! anything you want to resell sells better with the box.
Ex: I sold my sons car seat, with box and manual for $10.00 more then I paid for it, go figure.
Ebay is a great way to make extra money, I have sold almost ALL my sons old things on ebay as he outgrows them.
However if you are only planning on selling off your old childrens stuff you may not get $400.00 a month. But some money is better then none, right?
Really how much you make is dependant on how many items you have up there to sell. 40 items selling for $10.00 each for example will make you 400 in the month, but if you only have 100 baby items then how long will that last you??
You could space it out and make less a month and the items will last longer but again its an issue.
What I have found that works is to find something other then just baby stuff to resell.
There are a lot of people who join mary kay or get products like baby slings in bulk and resell them on ebay instead of to people they meet. Some people resell old videos from librarys or video stores during their sales when they are getting rid of old stock.
Others make stuff like candles or soap. There are a lot of options to look into.
But I will also tell you ebay does take some work. Its not just click and go. It takes some time to put them up on ebay as each item you have to take its photo (most items without photos don%26#039;t sell) and fill out the information about it. And when its done you have to ship it. The more time/items you have the more you will make.
*addition: You do not have to ship the item out until it is totally paid for (ie: you have the money/the checked cleared, ect. not just them telling you that they sent payment.)
It is free to sign up with paypal (which most people use) but they take their fees. You can set paypal up right to your bank account and can move your money straight into your account if you want.
Another thing I sugget to protect yourself is to put delivery confirmation on EVERYTHING you ship. It costs 45 cents more, include it in the shipping price you charge the buyer, it gives you a tracking number through the post office. If the person tries to scam you and claims they never got the item, ebay will make you refund them the money, they automatically will withdraw the money from your account, you are out of luck!
If you have a delivery confirmation number though they can see it was shipped and you won%26#039;t be scammed (I%26#039;ve had this happen) Ebay doesn%26#039;t really care if you have a post office recipit, they just want that tracking number. Also if something happend (like the label on the package falls off) you can find the item and have them put a new label on it, it won%26#039;t get lost in the post office.
*another addition* Also try and save money on shipping items buy reuseing shipping materials. Get boxes at target when they are stocking the shelves and wrap them in a brown paper bag instead of paying $5.00 to buy a box. If you get things in the mail in padded envelops cut them open nicely and then they can be taped closed with packaging tape. Get gifts wrapped in tissue paper? save it to wrap around things you sell that might need a bit of padding.
Reply:i am an ebay power seller so i will try to give you some good info. It not unrealistic to make that much a month but you have to figure in costs. You get charged a listing fee as well as a finail value fee. On top of that you have shipping cost and credit card processing fees. Even if you use paypal over half your customers will pay with a acredit card and you will loose money in fees. As for shipping even if your customer pays shipping you must take into account that maybe you get the weight wrong. Its hard to know the exact weight until you pack it for shipping. i would say about 40% of the time i loose $1-2. here is my monthly average.

What people are looking for is brand names like tommy, gap, the children%26#039;s place, etc. new with tags helps a bunch but you can still sell used clothing which goes better in big lots unless it is in great condition and really cute. all the other things you mentioned will sell good too. also maternity clothes go over good and diapers, formula, coupons, wipes, anything you might have extra of around the house. baby samples sell very well. do some research on ebay. look for some auctions that are like what you are wanting to sell to find out how you should list your items. go to help in ebay to find answers to your selling questions. ebay does charge small fees for listing, extra pictures, and they get a small % of what you make too. But not much. Good luck. I have alot of fun selling. Oh, go to stores when they have sales and see if you can get stuff dirt cheap then resale it for profit. That is what I am starting to do. Also if you can buy wholesale lots and resale the items. You can make way more than $400 a month once you learn how it all works!

I can tell you that my husband has been an ebay member for quite a while and whenever we have something that we just don%26#039;t need, we put it on ebay and someone always buys it. It may not be for much but it is not in my house anymore. Plus ebay is always having listing fee specials where you can list items cheaper than normal rates. It would be my suggestion to just browse ebay to get a feel for it.

First of all, how much can I really expect to make selling things? Is making $400 dollars a month on Ebay unrealistic? Be honest, I%26#039;ve never used Ebay before so I have no idea how much money people will pay for things.
Second, what kind of baby/kids stuff have you sold on Ebay that people really wanted? I have a ton of baby girl clothes, some of them designer names, like Christian Dior and Tommy Hilfiger. I also have toys, baby bathtubs, swings, seats, a bottle warmer, shoes, and a ton of other stuff.
Third, what does selling through Ebay entail? Do they take some money out of what you sell the product for? How do ensure you get paid from the other person before sending it out?

The basic starting price to list something (from $1.00-$9.99) is 40 cents plus a percentage of the ending price.
As well the most commonly accepted form of payment on ebay is paypal. They take their fees out as well, even though they are owned by ebay.
To sell on ebay you will need a credit card to register and a bit of common sense but its not to hard.
Ex: don%26#039;t post something at 2:00 in the afternoon because it will end at 2:00 in the afternoon, and well, there aren%26#039;t a lot of people home at their computers at that time!
*Oh I also recomend you get a cheap digital %26quot;mail%26quot; scale (I got mine on ebay for like $10.00.) That way you can weigh the item and then just calculate how much it will cost right online. The buyer is the person who pays for the shipping cost but if you think it only weighs 2 pounds and tell them the cost to ship 2 lbs, they pay that then you find out it really weighs 3lbs then its going to have to come out of your pocket. This way you won%26#039;t have to take it to the post office to see how much it weighs.
I sell on ebay and how much you make depends on what you sell.
Sometimes things go for cheap, and sometimes you get something good out if it.
My best suggestion is save the box!! anything you want to resell sells better with the box.
Ex: I sold my sons car seat, with box and manual for $10.00 more then I paid for it, go figure.
Ebay is a great way to make extra money, I have sold almost ALL my sons old things on ebay as he outgrows them.
However if you are only planning on selling off your old childrens stuff you may not get $400.00 a month. But some money is better then none, right?
Really how much you make is dependant on how many items you have up there to sell. 40 items selling for $10.00 each for example will make you 400 in the month, but if you only have 100 baby items then how long will that last you??
You could space it out and make less a month and the items will last longer but again its an issue.
What I have found that works is to find something other then just baby stuff to resell.
There are a lot of people who join mary kay or get products like baby slings in bulk and resell them on ebay instead of to people they meet. Some people resell old videos from librarys or video stores during their sales when they are getting rid of old stock.
Others make stuff like candles or soap. There are a lot of options to look into.
But I will also tell you ebay does take some work. Its not just click and go. It takes some time to put them up on ebay as each item you have to take its photo (most items without photos don%26#039;t sell) and fill out the information about it. And when its done you have to ship it. The more time/items you have the more you will make.
*addition: You do not have to ship the item out until it is totally paid for (ie: you have the money/the checked cleared, ect. not just them telling you that they sent payment.)
It is free to sign up with paypal (which most people use) but they take their fees. You can set paypal up right to your bank account and can move your money straight into your account if you want.
Another thing I sugget to protect yourself is to put delivery confirmation on EVERYTHING you ship. It costs 45 cents more, include it in the shipping price you charge the buyer, it gives you a tracking number through the post office. If the person tries to scam you and claims they never got the item, ebay will make you refund them the money, they automatically will withdraw the money from your account, you are out of luck!
If you have a delivery confirmation number though they can see it was shipped and you won%26#039;t be scammed (I%26#039;ve had this happen) Ebay doesn%26#039;t really care if you have a post office recipit, they just want that tracking number. Also if something happend (like the label on the package falls off) you can find the item and have them put a new label on it, it won%26#039;t get lost in the post office.
*another addition* Also try and save money on shipping items buy reuseing shipping materials. Get boxes at target when they are stocking the shelves and wrap them in a brown paper bag instead of paying $5.00 to buy a box. If you get things in the mail in padded envelops cut them open nicely and then they can be taped closed with packaging tape. Get gifts wrapped in tissue paper? save it to wrap around things you sell that might need a bit of padding.
Reply:i am an ebay power seller so i will try to give you some good info. It not unrealistic to make that much a month but you have to figure in costs. You get charged a listing fee as well as a finail value fee. On top of that you have shipping cost and credit card processing fees. Even if you use paypal over half your customers will pay with a acredit card and you will loose money in fees. As for shipping even if your customer pays shipping you must take into account that maybe you get the weight wrong. Its hard to know the exact weight until you pack it for shipping. i would say about 40% of the time i loose $1-2. here is my monthly average.

As far as what will sell that changes all the time. search for things you might want to sell and check the completed box over on the left. What people are looking for is brand names like tommy, gap, the children%26#039;s place, etc. new with tags helps a bunch but you can still sell used clothing which goes better in big lots unless it is in great condition and really cute. all the other things you mentioned will sell good too. also maternity clothes go over good and diapers, formula, coupons, wipes, anything you might have extra of around the house. baby samples sell very well. do some research on ebay. look for some auctions that are like what you are wanting to sell to find out how you should list your items. go to help in ebay to find answers to your selling questions. ebay does charge small fees for listing, extra pictures, and they get a small % of what you make too. But not much. Good luck. I have alot of fun selling. Oh, go to stores when they have sales and see if you can get stuff dirt cheap then resale it for profit. That is what I am starting to do. Also if you can buy wholesale lots and resale the items. You can make way more than $400 a month once you learn how it all works!

I think StrideRite shoes are a really good brand. They are made of soft leather and they give complete ankle support. Oddly, my son started walking in these shoes a week after I bought it for him. He had already pulled himself up and was doing the booty bouce next to it, but when I bought the Stride Rite first walking shoes, I guess he felt more secure. They have shoes for everystage even crawling. Look up a website or go to a local mall, JCPenney, Nordstrom and some others carry them. Some malls have their own store. They have been around for decades.

I agree that they are expensive and rarely go on sale, it seems, but there are a few outlets not so far away for Stride Rite - if those are available, give that a try.

At approximately what age does a baby girl start wearing a size 3 shoe? I am looking through all the new summer catalogues and would like to order my 8 month old daughter some shoes but they only start at size 3...?

its a Chocolate colored BabyPhat halter with gold details...

I LOVVVVE anything Baby Phat, they always have hot stuff. I think the shoes are really cute with the chocolate brown shirt, too. Again, I would pair with demin or a jean skirt.

It depends on where you are getting the clothes from. Most newborn sizes will be labeled either Newborn or 0-3 months. However, it%26#039;s really hard to tell b/c my baby was born weighing 8lbs and some of the newborn clothes were to big for her while others fit her just right.

I agree with everything Arlene G said. It sounds like you have pretty much everything covered for the baby so don%26#039;t forget about yourself. This is coming from experience because no one even told me to take any of those things for myself. My poor husband was always having to run to the store for extra things.
I would suggest bringing something to keep all the paperwork in. You will have lots and it%26#039;s so easy to just put them in one place so you aren%26#039;t worried about losing or forgetting them.
Also have some healthy snacks for when the baby comes home because I know I wasn%26#039;t able to eat for more than 5 mins at a time :). Escpecially because she had colic.
You might want to get some baby gas drops just in case.
And this is a personal choice but I now have a wrap for the baby and wish I had looked into them sooner so maybe you could check out those. But other than that it seems as if you are all set. Congratulations!

You also need a donut pillow. And Tucks medicated pads. The achiest bit is going to be your very thing and it is going to love you if you treat it tenderly by sitting on that donut pillow and putting a nice cool Tucks pad in your undies to take the sting out.
I don%26#039;t know what you have in your bag but you must have pajamas. Not some fiddley nursing gown with bows and ribbons...but a pair of comfortable sweat pant type pants (better to keep those humongous pads for the after bleeding in place) and a top that buttons down the front for easy access.
If you are a bath type of person then get yourself lots of smelly girly bath salt type things, too.
And snack food. Nursing is going to make you hungry. And hospital food sucks as much as it ever did. Stock up or make a list for your husband for when the event happens.

Reply:Wait until your baby arrives to get anything else. Your baby will have his/her own likes and dislikes and you don%26#039;t want to be left with a lot of things you won%26#039;t use. For example, some babies only like one brand of bottles/teats and others don%26#039;t like a swing or bouncer. There is an endless amount of baby merchandise available and you don%26#039;t need to buy all of it!

Little velcro booties – socks never stay on!
Gerber makes little newborn hats in a 3-pack which my daughter wears EVERY day (found them at K-Mart)
Depending on where you live, a cover for the carseat to protect baby from the wind or cold is great. Kiddopotomus also makes one that I ordered from Target
Boppy pillow for breastfeeding is great

The baby I%26#039;m watching is ten months but quickly outgrowing the 18 month clothes I had for him, and with the weather getting colder needs some long sleeves anyways. Where is the best place to look? What is a normal price? How long can I expect him to stay in one size of clothes? Is all the baby clothes sized about the same or will I not know if it fits until he wears it? And what about shoes...is there somewhere that sizes baby feet? And what about the whole soft vs. hard shoe thing...he is almost walking (he took half a step then lunged) so which is better for him, or do I need some of both?

£67.00 thinking i had a bargain and ended up paying £127.00 all together for postage and insurance and then i got hit with a customs and excise bill for another £21.00 which i had to pay or they would return my boots back to Oz and i would be liable for the return postage also!! To answer WHY is your kitty so interested in the shoes I have to ask are they leather shoes or part leather? I have found that cats are usually interested in shoes with leather that have been treated with some type of leather oil that they find appealing. I think the heat and sweat stirs up a little of the scent from the oil. Some leather oils have a fish base, which of course cats find appealing. We cannot smell it, but they sure can. I have seen cats go crazy with shoes, and there was even a briefcase that my cats would ravage, rolling and clawing on it. We thought that they had gone looney, but after smelling the leather closely we could faintly detect what they liked. That briefcase had to be safely guarded like you will have to with the shoes. Put them in a closet or somewhere that the kitty cannot find them.

I have a cousin of mine who never bought me anything growing up. I know that it is better for baby to learn to walk without shoes, I believe, but everyone keeps telling me that my 11 month old son needs some good hard sole shoes. His father gets mad when I don%26#039;t put shoes on him. He bought some boots for him, but they are so bulky and they take 5 min. to put on. It has been winter, so he just wears socks and slippers when we go out. He is pulling up, but not yet walking, but should I buy shoes for him for going out? If so, what kind, soft, hard? I don%26#039;t likes those robezz, to me they are so ugly, no offense, but what should I do?

Out of all of the pairs we bought him the nike tennis shoes seem to be most comfortable for him. They are very flexible and don%26#039;t seem to bother him. Any other shoe he tries to take off immediately. Stride rite are very soft, too, but very expensive. We lucked out and found some on sale for cheap.

I would only be wearing soft soled slippers or pre-walkers at this stage when he goes out to keep his feet warm. Its amazing how many people put ill fitting shoes on their children but will wear proper shoes themselves.

Go to your local department store and they will have a selection of baby shoes with soft soles. These are called pre-walkers and they will give your son a chance to get the feel for shoes without the heaviness. And they look just like kids shoes.

the fever was 102,5, didnt check in a while, because he is sleeping here with daddy. he is doing fine and happy and ate and talked and smiled.
this morning i went to the supermarket and i saw 2 paramedics and i asked them about it and they said, a little tylenol and if it doesnt go down i should see a doctor in 2 days, but i will go tomorrow.
i read its better not to give medicin so the body can fight the virus better. what do you think?
now i have another question, i already asked about which shoes to buy for my baby who just started walking by himself, everybody suggested very soft and flexible shoes, so yesterday we went to stride ride and they said we have to get stage 3 for babys who walk alone, stage 2 is when they still hold someones hand, but, stage 2 is much flexible and softer then stage 3. we still bought stage 3 as they suggested it, should i go and change them, as eeeverybode sais the softest the better for beginning walkers (can walk by himself).

An antibiotic will fight an infection. I think that is what you are talking about when you refer to not giving medication so that the body can fight the infection on its own. Talk with your doctor, many times that is good advice. Sometimes it%26#039;s not.
As for shoes, talk with your doctor/pediatrican. You can%26#039;t really trust the people at Stride Rite stores. They might say they%26#039;re trained, but many have no clue what they%26#039;re talking about.
Ask your doctor what to look for in shoes.

Soft shoes are probably more comfortable. My kids started walking in the summer time, so barefooted and or sandals worked for them. Back then (my kids are, 26, 22, 19) people didn%26#039;t make a big fuss about shoes unless they had something wrong with their gate (walk). My 7 year old wore soft tennis shoes. She breezed through the walking process pretty fast.

I%26#039;m a fashion nightmare, so I need some help. I have this 1940sish looking dress. It%26#039;s of a filmy, off white material. I%26#039;m trying to find a pair of shoes to match, and I was looking for a pair of pink shoes since I usually stick to pastel colors. They have a retro flare, right? Will they go with an off white dress, if I get bright red accessories. Also, I always worry about red because I%26#039;m super white and freckly. Should I keep looking for pastels?

The shoes are cute however, for the color of dress you described I definately think a lighter(pastel) colored shoe would work best especially for this time of year. Have you considered lavender, or light turquoise or even a pale pink? (When in doubt black always works)

My MIL always buys fancy frilly clothes for my baby and she doesn't wear them...should I say something?
My MIL and SIL love buying little outfits for my baby girl but they buy fancy frilly things like dresses with bonnets, impossible to put on shoes, and stiff items my baby can%26#039;t move in. I don%26#039;t dress my baby in them because she gets fussy when I %26quot;dress her up%26quot;. I just want her to be comforatable so she wears cotton onesies, cotton pants, stretchsuits etc. Shoes just get kicked off or don%26#039;t fit her little chubby feet to begin with. She hates hats/accessories etc. I know I am doing the right thing by dressing her for comfort and not treating her like a doll to play dress up with, but I feel awful that people buy her %26quot;pretty%26quot; things that just sit in the closet never to be worn, even once. One or two nice things for pictures is one thing, but an entire wardrobe of dresses is another. Should I say something to them so they don%26#039;t waste their money or should I let them have their fun and not ruin it for them? My sister had a similar thing with room decor -- she%26#039;s an interior designer and she wanted to get me all of these things for the room that were really more for the adults%26#039; taste than anything a baby would enjoy. She kept sending me links to stuff. I had lots of necessities on my registry, so eventually I just pointed out that there were a lot of useful items we needed, and that I wanted to get those taken care of before I worried about decorations. She got the hint. But I see what you are saying -- lots of people just like shopping for cute baby stuff so maybe let them have their fun if there are not things that you really need instead.

My daughter is 6.5 months old and has never had a pair of shoes on her feet. I go with the comfy theme as well, cotton onesies, cotton pants, etc. The most dressed up she gets is a cotton dress with bloomers. I haven%26#039;t said anything because I don%26#039;t want to hurt their feelings. I figure I will have some nice items to donate to charity. People just love to buy baby clothes!! Good luck :)

If it were me, I%26#039;d put her in a few of the more comfortable dressy outfits and take a few pictures to give to MIL/SIL, but again reiterate how baby isn%26#039;t comfortable. If they ask when baby doesn%26#039;t wear the outfits more often, tell them that the scratchiness, etc, irritates your daughter.
Save one or two of the outfits as a keepsake for your daughter and sell the rest at consignment, garage sale, online auction, etc.

Mention casually in conversation that she loves onesies for everyday use and that as she gets older she may like to get dressed up more. You have to understand that they are just so excited to have a cute baby girl in the family.
