Size 3 shoes?

At approximately what age does a baby girl start wearing a size 3 shoe? I am looking through all the new summer catalogues and would like to order my 8 month old daughter some shoes but they only start at size 3...?

at 6 months i took my daughter into stride rite for a crib shoe and they fitted her with a size 3. shes almost 9 months and she still wears a 3. because some babys have chunky/big feet you should take her in to be fitted.
Reply:don%26#039;t buy anything in advance. every time i do, i regret it. kids feet grow as they grow and it%26#039;s very unpredictable. one time i bought my daughter 3 pairs of shows in advance at a stride rite outlet store. she went through a growth spurt and only wore them for 6 weeks! i usually buy 2 pairs at a time. tennis shoes and and a semi-nice pair.
Reply:every child is different my eldest had size 3 when she got her first shoes from clarks n she was 11mnth, if u have a next catalogue they have a feet size chart at back where u can place u babys feet on n see the size they better that bit bigger than to small. if not take her to a shop where sell baby shoes n try some on 1st before u order. hope this helps x
Reply:I took my daughter to Clarkes to have her feet measured at 9 months, as she was crawling then and she is a size 2. Try Clarkes

Reply:Babies are all sooooo different. My daughter wore a size 3 at one year, when she started walking. My son would technichally wear a size 3 now, at 6 months, but he%26#039;s obviously not walking, so he doesn%26#039;t need shoes. Just wait until she needs them, then take her into a store to have her properly sized. Good luck~
Reply:my 8 month old is in size 2 so, if I were you I would take her into walmart and measure her foot just to be sure and if not, she will grow into them
Reply:when their foot is big enough for a size three, my baby is 1 now and i dont put shoes on her and she would only fit a two now - she has short fat feet. best thing to do is try on the shoe and if it fits then buy it if not then dont
