What kind of shoes for new walkers?

What brand shoes is best for my baby who has just started to walk?

What kind of shoes for new walkers?
For inside feet, just leave them bare. It makes it easier for them to feel what they are doing. For outdoors, sometimes just socks will do, but if you%26#039;re concerned about them getting stepped on or stepping on something that%26#039;ll hurt them then just basic tennis shoes will do. Don%26#039;t worry about getting them the expensive name brands or Stride Rite. Although some people swear by them, it%26#039;s a waste of money. They outgrow them in a couple months anyway and WalMart, Payless or Target shoes works just as well for a fraction of the cost.
Reply:Depends on how much you want to spend. Children outgrow their shoes soooooooo fast. The stride rite walking shoes are good for babies with foot problems(pigeon toed, high instep, etc) but will set you back a pretty penny. We always went with just regular tennis shoes for our kids and tried to get high top ones as to support the ankle and keep it steady and you can get some really cute ones at Wal-Mart and Payless for a lot less money, or if you want the name brand do like me and go to Shoe Carnival when they have their big sales and hit the clearance rack.
Reply:not brand, just get a regular pair os sneakers, not those hard shoes they used to reccomend. I like ones with velcro not ties, easier when my son tried to wriggle while i was dressing him. His first pair were carter%26#039;s and they worked fine, and lit up..he loved them
Reply:There is a brand that they sell at Payless Shoes that were designed by a doctor (I think a chiropractor or foot doctor?). But I really like them but can%26#039;t remember the name. But the shoe salesman really recommended them.
Reply:Robeez!
Reply:soft soles
Reply:stride rites are best but just make sure that you can squeeze the toe to the heel...
Reply:Stride-Rite... probably the cruising shoes becaues they are more flexable.

They are great and provide awesome support.

Use these primarily for outdoors and such, but if your%26#039;re at your home, barefoot is best becaues it helps build ur childs foot strength.

Good Luck!
Reply:Try Robeez.com. They are great.
