At what week should u start buying baby clothes ?
Anytime after 3 months (the danger zone for miscarriage) is great to start buying up everything baby!
Reply:I started buying clothes when I found out she was a girl at 19 weeks. Now she has quite a wardrobe....lol
Reply:As soon as you want! Its FUN!!! And its easier if you start buying things early so that its not a whole bunch at once!
Reply:I know women who bought a baby outfit the day they found out they were pregnant. Here%26#039;s my suggestion. If you are going garage saling, start anytime. You can always safe/donate your extra. If you are buying new, wait until a couple of months before you are due. Stores get in the next season%26#039;s clothing about 3 months in advance and you don%26#039;t want to be buying winter weight stuff for the summer.

I%26#039;ve been told that there is sometimes a 12-14 week wait for a crib that you order along with baby furniture. It makes sense to choose that stuff earlier, so start looking around at what interests you.

Also, not everything has to be pink or blue. There are other colors.
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t but bottles at all, unless you have absolutely decided to not breastfeed.

As for baby clothes and such, I found it was best to start buying early. That allowed me to keep an eye out for clearance items. Of course, you have to be disciplined about not buying stuff that is not on sale. The front sections of baby stores have adorable stuff that is horrendously expensive!

Also, you may want to check something like craigslist for people who are giving away baby goods (or selling them for next to nothing). Even if an outfit has a small stain on it, it is worth buying. It will have a stain on it as soon as the baby starts wearing it, especially if you use formula. I only bought new stuff for very special occasions. Not even then, because I got plenty of new outfits as gifts. Onesies are something you will probably have to buy new, but they are cheap.

Check out stores like A Children%26#039;s Orchard. The prices are great, and they have very strict quidelines for what they will sell. If there%26#039;s a stain, they will not sell it. They also sell things like bouncers, baby carriers, and exersaucers. Why pay $85 for a new exersaucer (that your kid may only use for a month or two)if you can buy a new one for $25?

You can go to local consignment or even thrift stores and keep an eye out for good deals. You could spend $100 at consignment stores (high-end ones) and get at least $500 worth of stuff, as long as you know what things cost new.

Happy shopping!
Reply:i started buying clothes for my baby the day that i found out what i was having
Reply:im 7 months and have been buying since i was 5
Reply:after the kid is about 3 months old. you will get plenty of stuff from showers thrown by your coworkers and families for the first few weeks at least.
Reply:once you have found out the sex you can go out and buy whatever you want for the baby. but you need to make sure of one thing and that is to keep a hold of the receipts just incase you deliver early,or that your baby is a bit bigger. for the first couple of months the baby really on need sleepers, onsies, and nightgounds. they are going to be the easiest and best. it does help that once the baby is here that you learn swaddlewrap. what that does is it comforts the baby as if the baby was still in your womb. never put the baby on his or her stomach to sleep. always put baby on back. shoes yu dont want to buy, they wont need them until they start walking, if you put your baby in shoes to early it could cause problems for them later in life. bottles you can buy at any time one bottle that i recomend is soothie. its better and gives the baby less air.
