How can i photoshop shoes?

i wanna photoshop a baby picture i want to edit the shoes to a nike shoe or something like that is there any way to do this? i dont have much experience with photoshop

There is an icon with a pen nib on the left hand side of the stage. Click on it. A bar will appear on the top with all the presets available. You will see a square with points at the edge and a pen in the middle, click on this. Use this pen to outline what you want (the shoe). You must remember to enclose the shoe ( you will know when you do this because the dots will disappear and all you will see is a line around it). Once that is done go to the right hand side of the screen and click on the tab named paths, it is where the layers tab is. You will find %26quot;work path%26quot; in the small window and a rectangle of the path you just created. Right click on this rectangle and select %26quot; make selection. Set the %26#039;feather radius%26#039; to 1 and click ok. Hit %26quot;ctrl + x%26quot; that should cut out the shoe. To put in another shoe you may have to transform the scale and distort a bit to fit. It is best to use another layer for that. In order to transform it it needs to be selected. If it%26#039;s in it%26#039;s own layer that%26#039;s easy. Just hit %26quot;ctrl + a%26quot; go to edit and down to transform and choose the type of deform that you want.
