Will putting shoes on her help?

Will putting harder soled shoe son my baby help her stand and/or walk sooner? Heh, that is if she doesn%26#039;t kick her shoes off first!!!

Will putting shoes on her help?
no! you should not have shoes on your child when she is first learning to walk it could do more harm than good. she needs to feel the sensation of the floor on her feet (said my daughter%26#039;s physical therapist) and she could possibly twist and ankle with shoes on.
Reply:No; she%26#039;ll stand and walk when she%26#039;s good and ready, and not before. I%26#039;ll never understand why people want to rush these things (and yes, I have a child). Let her be a baby - it will pass before you know it!
Reply:No, it made my daughter have problems with falling down or tripping at first. I think bare feet or socks are better.
Reply:Nope. It won%26#039;t help.

Baby feet are specifically and biologically designed to learn to walk without shoes. Save your money, because you%26#039;re going to need it! And try not to have a heart attack when you do have to buy real shoes and realize they cost more than YOUR shoes.

And yeah...try to enjoy the not-walking-stage a little bit. Because when they start walking....it%26#039;s all over. For you, I mean. And your stuff. Everything suddenly becomes breakable.
Reply:If she is ready to walk, then yes, it will help. Not necessarily harder soled, just make sure they are supporting her ankles. That%26#039;s the most important thing. It helps them walk alot better if they have good support.
Reply:First of alll...you shouldn%26#039;t rush your child into anything. Enjoy them being a baby. Second, you shouldn%26#039;t put shoes on her to help her. You should only put shoes on after they are en experienced walker...and by that I mean, not tripping over little things and being able to balance and fast walk/run.

Again, don%26#039;t rush.
Reply:they actually recommend that young babies not wear shoes so their feet can develop properly. she will stand and walk when she%26#039;s ready to and then you will wish she hadn%26#039;t. they grow up so fast, don%26#039;t rush it.
