Can mold, mould, fungi growing in the flat be unhealthy for a 2months old baby?

My husband and I moved to a new flat before our baby was born, however the location is near forest, it is very dump and recently we noticed mold growing in our bedroom, even in our wardrobe. I have got headaches from the smell, allergy like symptoms, there is mould behind our bed, even in the wardrobe and our shoes, suitcases and even baby%26#039;s pram is covered with a green mould. Can it be harmful for our baby?

Can mold, mould, fungi growing in the flat be unhealthy for a 2months old baby?
Extremely unhealthy can cause/exasperate breathing problems and cause nausea and headaches.

You need to get this treated ASAP
Reply:YES YES

You should leave asap - no joke and no exaggeration
Reply:Depending on what mould it is, it could be very harmful to your baby. You need to get rid of it. Scrub it away and wash well with diluted bleach, Keep baby away from bleach fumes though. Get some of those crystals that absorb damp. You need to get to the bottom of why this place is so damp before you all become ill.
Reply:is this a joke???
Reply:Yes, the mould and the fungi give out spores which are minute %26#039;seeds%26#039; and these can get into your lungs and cause breathing difficulties. A 2 month old baby should not be in these conditions.
Reply:I would leave as soon as possible. Its very very dangerous. No joke. If you said YOURE experiencing symptoms, imagine what it would be like for a small child. Get out of there.
Reply:This doesn%26#039;t sound healthy.

Some moulds are harmless but obviously you do%26#039;t know if the one in your house is harmful or not. You need to speak to someone who can analyse this mould and see whether it is toxic or not. In the UK I%26#039;d suggest your local Environmental Health department (part of your local council).

In the UK your local Council would have to rehouse you for yours and your baby%26#039;s safety (don%26#039;t know which country you live in sorry)
Reply:YES!!! very much so!

hope you get it sorted soon x
Reply:Everything that u named is bad. If it can harm u, it can harm ur baby. My mother was in the hospital for 2 weeks because the mold and mildew that was in our apartment made her sick. We kept asking the manager of the apartments to do something about it. We were there for 7 years. The manager said all they can do is spray it with bleach and paint over it. Wow we were doing that already. My mother was 40 when that happened to her and now she has been having problems with her sinuses. Please move. Please take ur baby to his/her doctor. If u cant get in to c them then take ur baby to the hospital ASap!!!! This is really bad for all of u. U and ur husband should get checked out also. Ur babys lungs arent as good as adults lungs are. Please get this taken care of quick. While ur waiting please get some gloves, bleach, mask and other Personal Protection Equipment so u can bleach down the house. Take the baby to a friends or relatives house that u trust so the baby wont inhale the chemicals and burn his/her lungs. If u have a security deposit hopefully they will refund ur money because of the problems but if not dont worry about it because ur child and ur health is more important. Hope me telling this story will convience u enough to move. Good Luck and Congrats on ur baby.
Reply:Oh yes very unhealthy. This is no place for a baby, get out as soon as possible.
Reply:Well you know fine it is, or you wouldn%26#039;t be asking!! Get onto the landlord and demand they fix it, if it%26#039;s a rented property. Get the baby into a room without mould for a sleep. When they are sleeping, put on a paper mask, get a scraper and Detox bleach cleaner, open all of the windows to ventilate the room well, and scrape off any growth followed by a good spray of the Detox mildew remover then using a scrubbing brush and a cloth, clean it off. That%26#039;ll help in the meantime. Once you%26#039;ve done that, wash it down with fresh water to help get rid of the bleach smell. You%26#039;ll need to do it on the walls, the wardrobe, floorboards, skirting where ever it is. You are the parents now and it is YOUR job to fix this, no ifs or buts!! You have to be grown up and do what your mum and dad would do, which is not leave you as a 2 months old is s stinking property that is, quite frankly a health hazard!!!
Reply:Yes it could be very harmful for all of you. If you can, move away. If not call in the environmental health people. It%26#039;s not necessarily the mould or the spores that could be prejudicious to your health but the dampness could lead to all sorts of problems. At the very least consult your family doctor.
Reply:ye because it causes bactreia

which cause illnesses to you and your baby

hope this helps.
Reply:Of course this is harmful, get out of the flat right now, I%26#039;m really not kidding, and to be honest I%26#039;d take the baby to the emergency room just to be on the safe side.

Mold spores can kill, especially the young. I%26#039;m not saying this to scare you, just to stress how important it is to take your precious child away from harm.

Good luck, but don%26#039;t delay.
Reply:get a proffesional in to examine the mould while you do that move the child into a room that has no mould
Reply:YES
Reply:Yes it can and will be, I just moved out of a house because of black mold. My children where getting sick, and so was I. Since we moved out, we all have been fine. Good Luck
Reply:YThis will harm you all not just baby, mould thrives on damp which in itself is bad and also gives of spores which are airborne and will attack respiratory system. You could try using dehumidifiers and heaters along with lots of fresh air to get rid of it. Good luck.
