Can she wear black shoes with white clothes?

I don%26#039;t have any other color dress shoes for my 4-month-old baby but black shoes. Is it tacky to put black shoes on her with an outfit that%26#039;s mostly off-white (with accents of yellow)? I%26#039;m thinking it is, becasue I%26#039;d never do that, but I%26#039;m not sure if the rules are different for a baby...

Can she wear black shoes with white clothes?
I say that none of the adult rules apply to babies. Black shoes go with anything on kids.

With that said, consider keeping her shoeless at her age. I%26#039;d say that until they need shoes to protect their feet while walking on possibly sharp surfaces, they don%26#039;t need to have any shoes at all (unless you want them to for cuteness only). Barefoot, just socks or tights are all fine.
Reply:it shouldn%26#039;t matter really black goes with anthing but at 4 months i wouldn%26#039;t worry about shoes. you can just use white socks or stockings if you really want to co-ordinate
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t do it either. I would go and buy her some off white shoes or I would just put some tights on her with some socks or Just some white socks.
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t even bother with shoes at that age. but if you feel she must have shoes then black should be OK - especially if they are shinny - patten shoes go with anything.
Reply:It%26#039;s fine. Children should wear %26quot;fun%26quot; colours. Don%26#039;t be too rigid in the colour co-ordination. Just think %26quot;fun%26quot;!
Reply:you can go barefoot since its warm out now. or they have those little baby socks that look like little dress shoes.
Reply:yea i wouldnt do it.. she has to match!!! lol id change her outfit or get different shoes...or jus put sox or sumthn on her..
Reply:Babies don%26#039;t need shoes at all. She%26#039;s not walking anywhere yet. Just put some socks on her to keep her feet warm.
