Would these shoes match this dress?

I%26#039;m a fashion nightmare, so I need some help. I have this 1940sish looking dress. It%26#039;s of a filmy, off white material. I%26#039;m trying to find a pair of shoes to match, and I was looking for a pair of pink shoes since I usually stick to pastel colors. But, I found these shoes, and they had a nice classic look to them. But, I need someones opinion. They are bright red, and I just wasn%26#039;t sure if they would work together color wise. Here%26#039;s the shoes:

They have a retro flare, right? Will they go with an off white dress, if I get bright red accessories. Also, I always worry about red because I%26#039;m super white and freckly. Should I keep looking for pastels?

Would these shoes match this dress?
The shoes are cute however, for the color of dress you described I definately think a lighter(pastel) colored shoe would work best especially for this time of year. Have you considered lavender, or light turquoise or even a pale pink? (When in doubt black always works)
Reply:At first I was going to say stick with the pastels until you mentioned you are pasty... red shoes would be great if you have darker hair. If not then I would look for gold, teal, or Yellow.
Reply:those r sum UGLY shoes
Reply:Bright red with the dress would be amazing!! But those shoes are bleh!! Try some red peep toe heels like these:

Reply:they look good! ;)
Reply:Maybe a picture of the dress might help.
Reply:Off-white goes with pretty much anything, the shoes should work. Also, I%26#039;m a redhead and red looks great on me, so don%26#039;t be afraid to wear it!
Reply:Yes the shoes you picked out would go really well with that dress
Reply:Those shoes are ugly, sorry, I wouldn%26#039;t wear them but if you like it, wear them.
Reply:Definitely go for it. Red and any shade of white look amazing together, and I%26#039;d actually stay away from pastels--especially with your skin tone. You don%26#039;t want to look washed out. The red%26#039;ll make you pop. (An extra tip: wear bright red lipstick. Trust me, it looks good on pale people, I%26#039;m pale. It%26#039;s sophisticated and daring, something that many people shy away from.)
Reply:the shoes are nice and as far as being pale, if you are a brunette you can get away with it, blond or red, i wouldn%26#039;t try it, stick ewith pastels. God Bless!
Reply:Since you are really white I wouldn%26#039;t consider wearing red, it will make you look even whiter. I would suggest to wear it with pink or black. Those shoes are honestly horrible. They look like grandma%26#039;s shoes, no offense. If you want cheap shoes there are other shoes that are cheap and gorgeous.

(that in bright red)
Reply:thats a fashion no no. wear anything but those awful shoes
Reply:well the shoes are okay but i wouldn%26#039;t wear them for myself but if you like it you should get it because i think white and red go toogether perfectly. if you need something to match it, use red (the same red as the shoes) and black acessories, that would look good!
Reply:yes .......... so cute
Reply:red is too blod for the out fit i suggest you stick w/ off white
Reply:The red shoes are cute, and they can go with a white dress. I would just wear all your other accessories (necklace, earrings, belt, etc) in black, so as to avoid looking like a candy cane. it also makes a really fashionable, put-together style.
Reply:I%26#039;m not crazy about the shoes, they look a little Dorothyish from Wizard of Oz. I would get something a little more summery.
Reply:those r cute shoes... can u post a pic of the dress? stick with red n black acessories, chunky red n black bracelets, black necklace, red purse, short red nails. forget the pastels, the red will b hot, just rock ur pale skin, im pale too, but hell, our skin will b in better shape later :)
Reply:im sorry, but i do not like those shoes, they are retro, but not in a good way.

also, the red with the off white might look like a picnic...

but you can totally do red accessories and shoes! i am pale and freckly and would totally wear red shoes, i just never happen to have enough money on me when i see red items i like!

since you have the dress already, stick with pastels i would say, or black. black patent leather wedges (i dunno if they will still be there, but i got the cutest black patent leather peep toe wedges at DEB)

good luck!

p.s. EMBRACE THE WHITE SKIN!! when we are old we will be laffing at all the other old ladies who were tan and are now facing the consequences of many wrinkles! MUAHAH!
Reply:Peep toe shoes would look great too.
