Why in poorer neighborhoods are there always shoes laying out in the middle of the road. Not a pair?

But just one shoe without the mate in the middle of the street. Every day a different shoe. A baby shoe a sandal, a tennis shoe and I always accidently run it over. Is it some kinda cultural thing or superstision? And what does it mean when they hang a pair on the telephone wires by the shoe strings?

I want to know that also. It%26#039;s like that sock that disappears in your dryer.

Why are there also shoe laces tied together and the shoes hanging from telephone or electric wires?
Reply:That%26#039;s kind of a weird question but I have never thought about it before....hmmm
Reply:The hanging shoes can either be the shoes of someone who%26#039;s passed away, or someone being an butthole and throwing someone else%26#039;s shoes up there after taking them from them (as well as other meanings). As for the single shoe in the road, I%26#039;m not sure about that.
Reply:well the the beans get caught and run they lose a shoe or 2 then the people chasing them feel it is only right to show where they where laast seen by throwing them on the telephone post
Reply:LMAO! That%26#039;s were the wets ran out of them running from the Border Patrol!
Reply:Because when they are running from the cops they don%26#039;t stop to pickem up.

I also see underwear laying in the road too.
